Explore the basic concepts in managing the flow of materials
in a supply chain. In this course, you get a complete overview
of material flow, from internal and external suppliers to and
from your organization.
BSCM Topics include:
• Elements of the Supply Chain
• Just-in-Time (JIT),
• Total Quality Management (TQM),
• Manufacturing Resources Planning (MRP II)
• Demand Planning and Capacity Management.
BSCM is the first of five modules
required to earn your CPIM Certification*.
The other modules are:
• Master Planning of Resources (MPR)
• Detailed Scheduling and Planning (DS&P)
• Execution and Control of Operations (E&O)
• Strategic Management of Resources (SMR)
* Please note that CPIM modules are review courses designed
for persons with related education and industry experience.
They are not meant to teach the content on a beginner basis.
