Lodging:
The course will be conducted at The Margate Conference Center in Laconia, NH. The Margate is very conveniently located for the course and for participants bringing their family for winter fun here in the Lakes Region.
Room rates will be $89/night for courtyard view rooms and $99/night for lake view rooms. There are also family rooms available for larger groups. Contact The Margate for details (http://www.themargate.com ) .
Amenities at The Margate include an indoor pool, an oversize Jacuzzi, an exercise room, a sauna, and a spa. View the web site of The Margate for further information on lodging and amenities.
The Gunstock Mountain Resort ( http://www.gunstock.com ) has skiing, snow-boarding, sledding, tubing, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, restaurants and more. Contact The Margate for special Stay and Ski pricing available for guests of The Margate.

Meals:
The enrollment fee for this CSCP course includes catered lunches for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as well as dinners on Friday and Saturday evening for students. Continental breakfast is included in the room rate for all guests.
If you bring your family with you, they may have lunches and dinners at any of many local restaurants. Some are located within a short walking distance including one across the street from The Margate. As stated above, continental breakfast is included in the room rate for all guests.


Registration:
The tuition fee for APICS members is $1625 and for non-members it is $1825. The CSCP Learning System, the textbook, and five meals at the Seminar site are included in the above tuition fee. The five meals are lunches (on Days 1 through 3) and dinners (on Days 1 and 2.) Non-members of APICS will save money by becoming members and then paying member enrollment fees.

Study materials:
In addition to the CSCP Learning System, the textbook Designing and Managing the Supply Chain, Simchi-Levi & Kaminsky is provided. You should review this textbook as well as read/review the CSCP Learning System four (4) volumes prior to the beginning of the seminar. These study materials will be shipped directly to you upon your registration.
Also, prior to arrival in Laconia, you should have attempted one sample exam for each of the four (4) volumes of the Learning System and one (1) sample exam that covers all four volumes combined as does the actual certification exam. To ensure privacy, only the instructor will have access to the results of your sample exams. The results of these five (5) sample exams will allow Prof. Benoit to tailor the Seminar to match the needs of the class.

Testing dates:
The goal is for our students to be prepared for the CSCP certification exam by the June exam date below.
The next APICS CSCP pen-and-paper test date is March, 13, 2010. The June 19, 2010 test may be taken as a pen-and-paper test, or as a computer-based test. See http://www.apics.org/Certification/CSCP for critical eligibility and registration dates and fees.
 

University credit:
If you desire three (3) credits for this course, contact Prof. Benoit for details on the procedure required to be granted credits for the seminar by Plymouth State University (PSU). Students without a Bachelor’s degree may earn three semester hours of undergraduate credit, while those with a Bachelor’s degree may earn three semester hours of Graduate credit.
PSU tuition fees will be in addition to APICS seminar fees.
