Cost: $20 APICS members, $22 nonmembers, $10 Full Time Students. Co-Sponsored by CENH Chapter of APICS and New Hampshire Manufacturing Enterprise Partnership, NHMEP, in partnership with Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

A buffet supper (included) will be served following the tour during the question, answer and discussion period..

About The Seminar

The DHMC Supply Chain team will present an overview of Lean Principles and explain how they applied these in successfully accomplishing a Lean Kaizen Event in a medical environment. Emphasis will be on the fact that Lean Principles apply to all businesses, not just to the manufacturing sector. Seminar registration will be open at 3:30-4:00 PM followed by a slide show presentation from 4:00 – 5:15 PM. The Seminar will transition to a Plant Tour (included) at 5:30 PM.

About The Plant Tour

The DHMC Supply Chain team will conduct a tour of the DHMC Inventory and Logistics areas to view the 5-S implementation at 5:30 PM and transition to a buffet supper at 6:15 PM, followed by a question and answer period. It is recommended that everyone attend both the seminar and plant tour for maximum benefit, however if you cannot make the earlier seminar you may join us for the plant tour at 5:30 and supper at 6:15.
